About
Your subconscious mind processes your lived experiences (both positive and negative)
by retaining thoughts, feelings and emotions which forms a protective cellular memory in your body. These emotions ultimately create your beliefs, habits and emotional circuits that run in the background of your day to day life driving your decision making.
As humans, many of us are not able to cope or process the negative experiences and events that we face in life.
Occasionally, an experience will be so intense that it may overwhelm the body’s ability to process the experience as it happens. To protect against similar experiences re-occurring in the future, the body traps and retains these negative emotions, where they form part of our subconscious programming.
These self-protective cellular imprints and programmes then influence how we hold onto the past
As well as how we respond to the present and how we feel about our future.
Over time, these imprints and programmes can start to impact the physical body - ranging from a general feeling of ‘something not quite being right’ through to the development of an ill physical body, a body that doesn’t heal or even physical pain.
